Dusty Springfield Rose
A New Rose – dedicated to Dusty Springfield
Colin and Jill Claydon started the process for the naming of a new rose in Dusty’s name in the year 2000.

This involved raising enough money initially from donations by Dusty Springfield fans. An initial £50 was required to register the name with the International Registration of Roses in the U.S.A. The rose was named simply Dusty Springfield.

The official launch was in 2003 at the Hampton Court Flower Show.

£2 from every bush sold was to go to the Royal Marsden Hospital Charity for research into breast cancer.
