Dusty Springfield’s Marker – St Mary’s Church, Henley-on-Thames
Dusty Springfield’s Marker is located in the churchyard of St Mary’s Church, Hart Street, Henley on Thames, where some of Dusty’s ashes are scattered in accordance with Dusty’s wishes. Dusty’s fans place flowers and tributes on the marker all year round, and funds are raised by Let’s Talk Dusty fans and arrangements made for flowers to be placed on the marker on a fortnightly basis. Individual fans also place flowers particularly around the anniversary of Dusty’s birthday and untimely death in March 1999. Further floral tributes are also placed at Xmas time in order to pay homage to Dusty.
Dusty Springfield is not forgotten and will never be forgotten by her legion of fans from around the world.
